The Islamic Republic has recently increased its efforts towards eradicating the Turkish language within the geographical borders called Iran.
The regime that prevails in Iran has turned towards exterminating the precious Turkish works of art in this country by joining forces with the Persian chauvinists.
The Turks have settled in this geography which is called Iran for thousands of years and during the time of the Great Seljuk Empire. Many historical masterpieces in Iran are the heritage of the Turks of that time.
The Islamic Republic is nowadays trying to eradicate the Turkish language in the Iranian geography, half of its population is composed of the Turks, namely the Azerbaijani Turks, the Turkmens and the Kashghais etc.
The ban, hindering the nations from having an education in their mother tongues still persists in Iran. The names of the villages in Turkmensahra are being altered and the Turkmens are not able to pick Turkish names for their children. In this very period in which the Turkmens are exposed to the propagandas maintained with the aim of assimilation by their enemies (the regime of the Islamic Republic), name alteration news set about coming from the city of Tabriz and other cities of Azerbaijan. These practices are being realized under the pretext of the ban on the use of foreign expressions and the Azerbaijani Turks are being forced to change their Turkish names.
The Islamic Republic wishes to celebrate the demise of the Turkish language in Iran by joining forces with the racist Persian chauvinists. However, this desire will remain a fantasy!.
In an attempt to actualize this project, the Culture Ministry of the Islamic Republic has sent a notice to 590 stores in Azerbaijan to change their names. As a result, 530 stores were obliged to make these alterations. The Turkmens, the Azerbaijani Turks, the Kashghais .. they perfected their mother tongues within the period of thousands of years. This beautiful language has pierced their hearts and became part of their characters.
As Turkmensahra Liberation Organization, we condemn the efforts to put an end to the Turkish language of the Islamic Republic and declare that the Turkish language in this country will survive until the death of the last Turk in Iran.. The Islamic Republic has no other way than destroying the millions of Turkmens, Azerbaijani Turks and Kashghais… in order to attain its aim of eradicating the Turkish language..
Either Turkmen, Azerbaijani Turk or Kashgai, the language is the honor of the entire Turkish nation and this nation will not consent to even a small encroachment on its prosperous linguistic and cultural wealth dating back to thousands of years. The Turkish language, Turkmen, Azerbaijani Turk or Kashgai, will exist as long as the self sacrificing Turkish mothers exist. As long as these mothers live in these territories, their mother tongues will live forever.
